The Sound of Spring - Group Sound Meditation with Craig Rogerson

  • Yogaloft Beethoven St London W10 4LG (map)

Friday 14th April, 7.45 - 9.00 pm | Beethoven Street studio

Price: £20

Celebrating the first Spring full moon and stepping into the next lunar cycle, this session shall focus on change and acceptance. Nature is showing visible changes all around us. Sometimes change can be challenging, and nurturing acceptance during this time shall be most helpful. This time shall be a true moment to rest, relax and restore - ready for the beautiful road of change ahead.

Craig's Group Sound Meditations utilise the strengths of many instruments and sound tools to create calm, safe and welcoming spaces for all to relax in. You will be guided to a restful state by the sounds of Himalayan singing bowls, crystal singing bowls, the Gong, chimes and kalimbas - and not to forget, the beautiful sounds of the Handpan.

Stimulating frequencies create sympathetic reactions that allow us to clear blockages whether emotional, mental or physical. Work with such sound tools can be detoxing, balancing, de-stressing and uplifting.

You might like to bring a small cushion / pillow to rest your head on and while mats are provided, you are welcome to bring your own yoga mat should you prefer.

Craig is an IPHM certified Sound Therapy Practitioner providing Individual treatments and Group Sound Meditations through his practice ‘Soundworks’.

Sound is proven to be more effective when our eyes are covered. Craig's handmade silken eye covers will be available at the Yogaloft reception for £4, or feel free to bring your own shawl, scarf or eye mask.

Please arrive at least 10 minutes early to register and set up your space in the studio. Latecomers cannot be admitted as it will disrupt the progress of the session.

NB: this session is not suitable for people who are pregnant or have a pacemaker fitted.
