What to  expect when you come to Yogaloft

Yogaloft is reopening on 31st July, and it is the same Yogaloft, but with a few adjustments to keep us all safe. We’ve put together this comprehensive guide to help you prepare for your visit and know what to expect. It covers booking, what to bring, how to enter, leave and move around the buildings, protective measures and yoga equipment.

Please read through this before you come back to the studios. There are a few things you’ll probably like to know, and a few you need to know. We all play a part in keeping each other safe and healthy!

1. Booking and what to bring

Booking

  • All studio classes must be booked in advance.

  • Class cancellation window now ends 3 hours before class. After this time you won’t be able to cancel without being charged.

  • Social distancing means spaces in the studio are extremely limited, and so if you book into a class using your pass and don't attend, you will be charged a no show fee of £12 per class. You won't be able to use your pass again until you clear the fee.

What to bring

  • Bring a mask. We ask that you wear a mask in all common areas. You don’t need to wear it during your class.

  • Bring your Yogaloft key tag when you come in for a class. If you need a replacement tag please let us know in advance so we can have a new one ready for you. This is to avoid any delays at reception that could have a detrimental effect on other students. Email info@yogaloftlondon.com

  • Please bring your own mat, and bring other yoga equipment if you can.

  • Arrive ready for class. The changing rooms are not in use other than for hand washing and toilet facilities.

2. Arriving, moving around and leaving Beethoven Street and Lonsdale Road

Arriving

  • Arrive 10-15 minutes before your class starts. This is important as social distancing measures mean that it will take longer than usual to move through the building. If you arrive later than this, you may miss the beginning of your class. If you are earlier than this, you may arrive as others are trying to leave. Please be punctual!

  • All visitors must check in at reception after removing shoes.

  • All students, teachers and staff will have their temperature checked upon arrival.

  • Sneeze screens are installed at the reception desks. The reception team will wear masks when they move around the building.

  • Anyone showing signs of illness, or with a high temperature, will be politely asked to leave

  • Please note: if the teacher shows signs of illness or has a high temperature, they will also be asked to leave and in this event class will be cancelled and full refunds will be given.

Moving around the buildings

  • Wear a mask when moving around our buildings.

  • We have clearly marked out coloured routes to help you get around safely. Please observe routes, floor markings and signs that flag narrow spaces, one way flow, and ‘give way’ spots. These are in place for everyone’s safety.

  • No waiting outside studios – please observe our arrival guidelines and you will be able to go straight into a studio when you have checked in.

  • When queuing to check in or to take off/collect your shoes, we have distanced queues with floor markings to show you where to wait.

  • A maximum of two people can enter the Beethoven Street changing rooms at any one time. This is for access for toilets and hand washing only. The changing facilities and shower facilities are not in use.

Leaving

  • Follow the marked routes and 2 metre distancing points for leaving the building and around the shoe area.

  • Please leave promptly after your class and observe the protocols we have in place. This is in order to free up the space for students arriving for the next class.

3. Protective measures

Hygiene

  • Cleaning points with hand sanitizer are placed throughout the building.

  • All touch points around the buildings are sanitised throughout the day.

  • The studios are deep cleaned every evening.

  • All studio mats are cleaned between each class

In the studios

  • We encourage you to buy your own strap, and these are on sale at both studios

  • We are also selling our never-used studio Beethoven St bolsters at a reduced price of £23 (usual price £38)

  • We have set up a storage room for you to leave equipment between visits at Beethoven Street and Lonsdale Road. If you would like to leave any equipment at the studios (including a bolster) please bring a bag with your name clearly marked.
