LEELA MILLER
Leela began teaching yoga in 1986 when she completed the Sivananda teacher training program. She later went on to study Ashtanga, Iyengar and Shadow yoga. Leela weaves the precision of Iyengar alignment, the energetics of Shadow Yoga and the commitment to practice into the spiritual fabric of Sivananda Yoga. With gratitude, Leela credits Danny Paradise, Shandor Remete and Alaric Newcombe for their teaching, generosity of spirit and influence in her spiritual life. Through her study of anatomy and physiology, and biodynamic craniosacral therapy under the guidance of Michael Kern, she began to understand and apply the healing power of dynamic stillness that underpins all movement, and ultimately life. This led her back to yoga, her Sivananda lineage and the study of Yoga Nidra as taught by Swami Satyananda.
