Group Sound Meditation @Beethoven with Craig Rogerson

  • Yogaloft Beethoven St London W10 4LG (map)

Friday 6th May, 7.30-8.45pm | Beethoven Street studio

Price: £18

After a grounding, first session of spring, this next Group Sound Meditation shall focus on nurturing stability and our sense of belonging as we balance fluctuations during the waxing moon. In this session you are free to relax your mind and drift away to wherever the sound may take you.

Using metal Himalayan singing bowls, crystal singing bowls, chimes and the beautiful sounds of the Handpan, Craig creates a calm, safe and welcoming space for all to relax in.

Stimulating frequencies create sympathetic reactions that allow us to clear blockages whether emotional, mental or physical. Work with singing bowls can be detoxing, balancing, de-stressing and uplifting.

You might like to bring a small cushion / pillow to rest your head on and while mats are provided, you are welcome to bring your own yoga mat should you prefer.

Craig is an IPHM certified Sound Therapy Practitioner providing Individual treatments and Group sessions through his practice ‘Soundworks’.

Sound is proven to be 20% more effective when our eyes are covered. Silken eye covers will be available at the Yogaloft reception for £4, or feel free to bring your own shawl, scarf of eye mask.

Please arrive at least 10 minutes early to register and set up your space in the studio. Latecomers cannot be admitted as it will disrupt the progress of the session.

NB: this session is not suitable for people who are pregnant or have a pacemaker fitted.
